You probably do this yourself – One of the top ways people filter their email, and decide which ones to open, is based on who it’s from.
.
So why do savvy e-mailers still use from fields like donotreply or support (or VIAGRA Official Site)? Seems like they’re begging to be ignored or trashed.
.
Improve your “FROM” field and see what it does for your open rate.
.
Send from a recognizable “From” name/address, one your subscribers were introduced to during the opt-in process. If you’ve properly set their expectations, your subscribers will more quickly and easily recognize your company or list name.
.
Be consistent, so the email filters know yours is legit. It’s still a good idea to encourage subscribers to “white list” your address, so your email will be delivered to their Inbox successfully.
